LIVE UNITED Volunteer Festival: 9/20/08 in NYC
Take a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge on Sept. 20, 2008 to stand up for higher quality Education, Income and Health opportunities for all New Yorkers. Find meaningful and rewarding volunteer opportunities. Be an advocate for change - Live United!

The walk will take place at 10:00AM with the festival from 11:00AM – 3:00PM in Brooklyn’s Cadman Plaza Park.
At the Volunteer Festival after the walk, you can take the next step to getting even more involved.
At the festival you’ll find:
- Dozens of neighborhood agencies from all five boroughs;
- Volunteer opportunities;
- Social workers who will speak about critical issues;
- Free health screenings;
- Information about benefits available to low-income New Yorkers;
- Music, entertainment and food.
